Love the layers and the images in the sets. Needing more time to sit and make and be. I realize it’s gonna be a busy season, gotta get better atΒ being intentional π
there was this one time…
September makes me think it’s already time for the holidays. Usually I can’t wait but since we moved out our 3rd child to college, one is off traveling the world, just 2 girls at home- I’m ready for the holidays! Here are a few pics of Sept KP stamps!

I’ve got a few Halloween projects I’m still working on but wanted to get this post up. I am always kicking myself for not taking enough Halloween pics and this may be the first year I don’t have any kids dressing up for Halloween! π¦ MY WORD.
Three projects this month, who am I? I am floored at how much good stuff comes out in a month, it’s impossible to get through it all. Thankful for some hot days of AC indoors that make you want to scrapbook! π Loved the school themes and the fun alphas!

Took that photo one year visiting Mama in San Clemente for Mothers Day. Not enough visits down there and I will forever regret that.
Rare pic of me… The Last Bookstore in stinky DTLA I think.

These photos were from a trip that Chris and I took Els to Grand Canyon and the slot things in Utah? I can’t remember. The big kids were on international trips (kira, asia, Boys, Australia) and we thought this would be a fun road trip for us. We flew to AZ and stayed with Ethan’s fam for one night and drove throughout AZ. We had no expectations, Lorde’s new album just came out and we had it on repeat. Gorgeous places and wonderful time together. β€
And I mentioned Kira graduating last summer- finally documenting it here and there.
I’ve been a fan of Christine Herrin (EVERYDAY EXPLORERS) from WAY back! Like teaching classes at the Scrapbook Oasis in Irvine back when Elsie was one year old?!! Crazy. I love her work so much, she’s beyond talented. She kindly sent me some stamps of the 2 things I love. Boba and Hawaii. Here are my projects π
It’s summertime in LA and though we’ve been busy on the weekends, the weekdays are mellow and it hasn’t been crazy hot. I’m happy. I know I haven’t posted personal things on this blog in forever. Kira has graduated COLLEGE and now works full time. CAM graduated high school 3 years ago. And CALEB graduated high school a month or so ago. Els will be in 8th grade and loves all things beauty π Chris and I celebrated 21 years of marriage this year. β€ Mind blown… I know.
My kids (though I only have 2 left in public school (and soon only 1!!! left) are off in 3 days. CAN’T WAIT!
I’ve been torn on vacations lately- whether to put my phone away and just immerse myself in being away. I’m actually glad I had these few snaps to work with. I think it just needs to be a balance. Now coming home to print photos is the worse part about the whole scrapbooking thing. If I could find someone to appear with my photos in hand that woudl be amazing. That’s pretty much my road block to getting stuff done!

The trip above was a really cute aribnb in Joshua Tree but very emotional as we left during things were happening at home. Chris and I were very distracted. I read alot. We had a good time but were anxious to get back home.
Lastly a quick spread I made on Insta stories. I used to make classes for Studio Calico and Big Picture Classes… it was a long and tedious procedure. Insta story class is a whole other ball game. Quick and to the point.
March was all about FOOD! I used to take a lot of food photos but with this release, I realized I didn’t have as many as I use to? What happened? Maybe more of ‘in the moment’ happenings. Possibly self concious about taking photos in public. IDK π

Edited to add. This was a sweet snippet from a Thanksgiving at the Rutland House. One of the few times Mama came to stay with us once we moved out of South Pas. All the kids were in the kitchen and us girls were all making food. So special.

I can count on Elsie to document a ton of photos though. Is that what I have to resort to now? π

On a roll this month, too many good sets that I had to play with! I’m always loving the love around this time of year and between Kelly and Tina, I’m more than covered with the cutest Val day sets!Β

Pic of C and me at Justin and Gladys’ wedding β€ great day.

These pics were from a visit to Kira in SD for her bday. Els and I drove down and gave her a sugarfina set that showed that we were going to to see No Doubt in Vegas once Kira came home from college. We went to Vegas (ick) while the boys went to Chicago to look at schools for Caleb. Vegas is gross but our room was big and pretty and the drive was soooo long. I’m thankful for this time with my girls. We didn’t do this kinda stuff enough together.
Els and I met Emily and B at Candytopia in Santa Monica and ate Uovo after, amazing Italian food!
I also feel like I rarely use quotes anymore. Need to get better about that this year! I’m also challenging myself to make more than just my design team quota. So I’m really trying to just make some fun stuff for me. Or others, hence the valentine above π

Els in Arts District DTLA.
This must have been one of the early days of our Mexico City trip as Chris ended up getting so sick. Looking back it must have been the salad or salsa. We were sorta paranoid about getting sick but those are the 2 things we didn’t think through before we ate. We were at a super cute b&b. They called a doctor for Chris and I watched Stranger Things. Beautiful city, maybe one day we will go back.
