happy new year!

Our family on Christmas Day. I haven't made Christmas cards in years but I always appreciate the ones we receive in the mail! Don't give up on us, one of these days I'll get it together! I had some amazing photos over the year but always manage to be missing a child (or me!) in the photo. This one below is probably my highlight of 2014. Taken the night before New Year's Eve. Our big family piled in for a nighttime cuddle, knowing it's New Year's Eve the next night and the 2 older kids will be off in other places celebrating. 

Every year I make the mental resolution to exercise and I never follow through. I fight my own battles within my own head and heart that keep me from being my best. I stumbled upon this on Pinterest and it has resonated with me since. My words board on Pinterest is one of my favorites. I can scroll through for a dose of encouragment but this needs to be printed for constant reminder. Lovely words. My 2015 Mantra:
