This pic of me was taken at an airstream we found on Airbnb. It’s no longer there but it was an amazing place. View and the way they renovated the airstream. It’s been in a few music videos, I need to find out which ones. Tswift maybe.

And my holiday project, a way overdue updated Advent calendar for my older kids. Someone asked me what was on them and as I looked back, I realized there are a lot of events around FOOD! LOL Teenagers love food!

I love this costume she made. LaurDIY though cringey YouTube voice, has some great DIY’s that inspired Els.

Since it’s still over 80 degrees here in California, I went with happy colors since there’s not really FALL here yet! 

House across the street from us at Spruce. It was fun to live across from it and see all the colorful leaves fall down.

My favorite part is the Keep Your Face in the Sun stamp- that was actually my daughter’s instagram bio for so long! I can’t believe I was able to get a stamp with that saying AND use it on her COLLEGE graduation photo!! I have kept some personal stuff private over this summer or actually for years now!! But this was such a big milestone summer, I am going to be sure to update here. 

 Kira had me take some pics of her and kanani at this beach in La Jolla for her college graduation. She bought herself flowers and her outfit. Just the beginning of her planning her own visions. So proud of her. Can’t believe she’s done with college!

Although I am torn as lately I’ve been trying to be “IN THE MOMENT” more and less behind the camera. I’ve never had issues with that before but this summer I really did. Strange. Here are my projects for the month. A book reading accomplishment and a vacation from a few years ago. See, told you I was behind on my photo taking!   My favorite about the set from Tina is those Devoured this and Not My Favorite stamps. I am going to use them so much because I love the quick visual! 

Edited to add, I never used those stamps again. It’s a great idea but let’s be real when am I goign to make this grid of books I read and actually print them out. If Goodreads ever closes down I will be devastated.

I’m super behind on life. This season has been chock full of weddings, showers, school, work, new work all while trying to keep a smile on my face 🙂

Here’s what I was able to create for the month, though. Miracle I tell you!

Edited: I think it was Rachael, the girls and Cam and Chris with us- drove to Malibu, IDK what for.. but we have this little set of pics on the beach. It appears we were about to go to hawaii for the summer??

Edited: Idk how we got this hookup, probably Instagram. But we got some of these feminist shirts in the mail. Super nice quality, I still wear them to bed.

I love doing my year in review with my Good Reads account. I didn’t make my goal for the year but I’m still happy that I read as much as I did and documented this page afterwards. I often forget what I read. I don’t know what I would do without my account to keep track of it all.

December flew by -I’m a bit behind with my sharing! 🙂

awww, decorating and baking cookies from scratch is one of my favorite traditions of the holiday season. I finally have a recipe I love and have used multiple times so I know I won’t mess it up. We’ve started doing this with Justin’s kids. I’m gonna be a pro when we have our grandkids.

Our NYE was pretty low key- just the way I like it! Edited- Idk why I said that. It wasn’t low key, Chris and I went to a wedding (his coworker Adam). But we did rush home to get back to the girls for the ball to drop.
