kira was an 80’s girl, cam was a dragon (sorta!) and caleb a football player. E was to be d—d-d–d—dora but when dad came home with this outfit from singapore.. dora wasn’t given the time of day! oh well.

cam–when you’re in 5th grade, you sorta dress up. you can’t commit to a full costume.. you have one foot in the i’m too cool door, but still one in the i wanna have fun door. 🙂 this was our compromise, ala mom stitching 🙂

park

so the other day i took E to the park. it’s usually somewhat torture for me to take her to the park as she never wants to leave. so we end up staying for at least 2 hours…and even after all that time staying, she pitches a fit when it’s time to leave! this time, i brought this book that i was right in the middle of, so i was cool about staying. heehee. all about me. 🙂 she managed to make a friend (a chinese little girl that didnt speak a word of english) and they played for 3 hours. i sat. they played. i read. it was wonderful! 🙂

monday’s sick boy :(

layed in my bed and drew and read all day.

i personally enjoy his company and don’t mind him taking sick days from school 🙂 he’s my little buddy.
this blogging/photo taking daily thing is wiping me out! good thing we had dance class today to blog about tomorrow!

i have 4 flat rate post office boxes FILLED to the brim with stuff. lots of it is unused. maybe a few diecuts or stickers missing from a pack. but still lots of stuff still totally useable. i've already shelled out my own money to ship out some of these boxes already. if you want to paypal me, i'll send these out to you tomorrow. lovely boxes even decorated by elsie! 🙂

sunday, glorious sunday

I LOVE SUNDAYS! i came downstairs to the girls cuddling 🙂

kira hates that picture but i LOVE it so. look at e's hand on k's. awwwww. we had a great morning at church. although when it was time to leave, E pitched a fit. in attempts to put her to sleep while driving, we managed to get in the longest In N Out line EVER. she didn't fall asleep. i did get this nice photo of her though. oh where o where did that glorious light come from? we never have nice light in the house!

and then after many hours of denying.. she fell asleep. 🙂 this is what she looks like when she wakes up. i know chris is all over that. he loves that puffy, sleepy look. awwwwww!

and then we headed over to my inlaws house for dinner— where my father in law cooked up a storm! he made a trial mini thanksgiving dinner and we stayed and gobbled up till we could gobble no more. delicious. best IN LAWS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! love you guys!

that's our sunday. strange without daddy. we miss you!!! 😦

oh and i forgot to add this: october guest designer for scenic route. one of my favorite companies! love them!

saturday soccer

kira's pet peeve– any age under hers who doesn't play soccer correctly or keep score. so funny to hear her get all into it.

i totally get into it too, and since chris wasn't there, i felt i needed to shout twice as much. kira was rather embarrassed 🙂 and elsie scored more sugary water treats that day.. otter pops from her friend. besides our bread fettish, we have a serious otter pop fettish in our house too.

that's all i got for saturday- as i headed out to the oasis to scrap a bit. i hardly ever go there to do it because of the drive, last night was no exception. the traffic completely sucked. i hate the 5 freeway with a passion. but it was good fun to hang and get some layouts done without little fingers grabbing my stickers from my pile 🙂 more of these super exciting daily posts, tomorrow 🙂 phew, just made it in before midnight!

friday practice

i ran to the post office while uncle tuds watched the kids at practice for 10 minutes. els all up in the dirt. she is a girl who loves dirt and rocks and sticks 🙂

i got a new issue of my fave cooking mag and am so excited to make this! we are bread fanatics 🙂

and the boy who had practice had a little injury, someone stepped on his finger with his cleat but he still had a smile for dad

and cap our day off with a little in N out, why yes of course!

bath then bed

every night we snuggle in bed and she asks for me to yell for dad downstairs so that he can come snuggle her too. last night she knew he was gone. but she asked, where’s daddy? i said, in the airplane. she said, ever so sweetly… but i want him.
