we are big fans of treats in this house 🙂 oh, someone's coming from out of town, well, we must meet them at DOTS for a treat! oh and she's going to have a baby too? we'll have to wrap up a treat for her! 🙂

hanging out eating cupcakes and chatting. i loved elsie's face in that top photo. it was the first time she met jamie (my friend) so she was a little shy. but she was completely interested in the baby in her belly. she wanted to know if it was a boy or a girl, what the name will be… sigh. she would have been a great big sister, i think!

and after reading her requested bedtime story the night before:
she had a nice long 12 hour night's sleep! evidence:
oh i've missed that little hair flip! 😦
friday!
lol caleb brought this home from school the other day. his knack for getting to the point cracks me up.
eeeek, that green paper under his is elsie's preschool registration. i can't believe that she's nearly 3. 😦
and recent layouts:
it's the deal of the day should you want to stock up on some of the creative cafe paper today 🙂 funny thing about the above layout- i photographed it and took it up to my computer, then realized E had added gems to the paper. i had to photoshop them out.
quoting elsie from the other day:
one of my favorite sticker sheets here.
i am in love with this AC heart paper! this looks super crooked but it's not.
that's it. just trying to give my blog more love, even if with just little things. we have a 3 day weekend filled with 3 soccer games and a basketball game, family coming from australia and a whole lotta relaxing! yay!
pages

making stuff
the kids and i got a bee in our bonnets last night and made 5 of these puppies! so fun, and so gratifying to use up all those ribbons 🙂

tonight, we tackle on the teacher presents! 🙂
and here are a few more from the dodger day… elsie waiting in the car before we got there 🙂

dad has hopes of her playing ball 🙂

and me with my favorite ball player 🙂

oh! also added my next 7 pages for my december daily book over here… just trying to condense blog space 🙂
december projects
for the 2p’s color theme:
all very elsie heavy but i swear i did more of the other kids (these were all done at the crop i went ot a few weks ago) but i used them for other projects 🙂
and my good friend brooke gave me a boatload of christmas goodies and started me on the december daily journal per ali’s blog 🙂 so excited to do this brooke, thank you! 🙂
here are my first few pages:
here’s hoping for a full month of christmas spirit. hoping not to get all stressed out on details. 🙂
some scrap stuff
did this today for KI,focusing on epoxy. epoxy was pretty big for awhile there, seems like it's dwindling a bit, i'd like it to make a comeback 🙂 those letter stickers (fresh) are probably one of my top 10 faves.
i participated in a challenge for a site that is based in one of my favorite places (new zealand!) the challenge is to use themed products on a non themed layout. if it seems like i've done this before, i probably have. i am a sucker for themed products but love using them all year long, not just the specified holiday. here i used KI christmas and Scenic Route Birthday and Heidi Grace christmas. I tried so hard to get a halloween product in there as well but it wasn't working 🙂
and a few layouts for 2peas. now this is why i love scrapbooking. i took this picture when she was 2 months, blogged about it.. then scrapped it 2.5 years later. at 2 months, it was a crappy day. 2.5 years later, im longing for that baby, crappy day and all!
and one more.
oh gee, very elsie heavy. going to fix that as tomorrow i am going to the oasis for an all day crop! i will make a plethora of pages of my other children, i promise 🙂 have a great weekend!
for 10 bucks each
***EDITED at 7pm:
i have 3 of the 4 payments already. i'll contact one on the list if the 4th doesn't come thru. i have lots more to go thru so i will contact some of you at a later date. thanks for taking these off my hands! 🙂 chris thanks you too 🙂
i have 4 flat rate post office boxes FILLED to the brim with stuff. lots of it is unused. maybe a few diecuts or stickers missing from a pack. but still lots of stuff still totally useable. i've already shelled out my own money to ship out some of these boxes already. if you want to paypal me, i'll send these out to you tomorrow. lovely boxes even decorated by elsie! 🙂
it was one of those days.
where my 2 year old just did the typical 2 year old things that drive me batty. where half way thru the day, i threw in the towel and just plain gave up on trying to get things done. you won, elsie. productivity was non existent yesterday. today is a new day! i shall divide my time up and conquer!
in other news- i am purging nicely over here. i have a huge pile of stuff that isn't even opened yet. waiting to be sent to somebody in blog land. some of it is older, but if you are a true scrapbooker, you won't care 🙂 i want to get it out by the end of the week. i will be back!
“she’s got a twinkle”
in her eye that is full of sugar and mischief"
that's what daddy says about her, and i totally agree!! 🙂 these cute romance papers are on sale today at 2peas. i got most of this stuff new the other day. i love ripping my boxes open and making something from just that new stuff 🙂 i could technically dump all my old stuff and just keep scrapping this way and be a happy girl. i know my husband would agree 🙂 i've got to get rid of stuff. next week, i think i will do some giveaways 🙂 have a great weekend!
—-after i posted this, i realized, it's NOT friday! ha, i don't know why i thought it was! happy GREY's day today, people! 🙂
