just stopping by to post my weekly challenge layout up at 2peas 🙂
i absolutely adooore the nerdy bird line from sassafrass! sooo cute! these buttons are so pretty. i feel like i should do some big project with them. i love tucking in my letter stickers. cute 🙂
lately i can't get enough of my tumblr site. i love it. i love looking at all the pretties and thinking one day i might be able to copy pieces of it and be cool like them 🙂

i went through a little rut and then scrapped some of my favorite layouts. these 2 being 2 of the 3 that i've done. the third hasn't gone live yet so yay, gives me another reason to post in the future 🙂 
i adoooore the october afternoon lines that came out at CHA. they go with so muuuuch. here i paired it with dear lizzy, studio calico and basic grey kioshi 🙂 i cut up that gold jenni bowlin butterfly rubon and put it all over that dotty basic grey paper. looooove! i've been using these basic grey jewels on so many of my layouts, the size is just perfect!
lots of patterns and text going on here 🙂 new october afternoon again and pink paislee and fave studio calico stickers too. i cut up a jenni bowlin card for the glimpse title.

This is my favorite current layout:
every now and then i come across a product that i know i can't wait to get in my hands! this k & co sentiment is one of them. it reminds me of KI lace paper. and die cut machines that i wish i had 🙂 sometimes i get a photo back and i just know which product i'm gonna use it with. and very rarely, i make a layout without any of my own personal handwritten journaling on it. and i'm okay with it. the product, photo and vibe just flow and i am so happy with it 🙂
other supplies:
i haven't put a bucket through at 2p since october! it felt so good to dig through all my stuff that's been sitting here. some were even unopened, shocker! but it's time. lots of new goods coming out so i couldn't resist 🙂 just a little sneak peek of what i got. lots of american crafts. trying out their new adhesive, heard good things so i'm sure it will be! lots of cutesy and lizzy and hearts and cosmo. so excited about the calico rubons. yay!
Sigh. Cute paper is all I need… 🙂 The floral is the new Basic Grey, Kioshi line. It's not at 2p yet but you'll have to keep your eye out. Lavendar hydrangeas, some of my favorite flowers, they were my wedding bouquet! 🙂 I think I'm going to use a butterfly on every page for awhile 🙂 So addicting! Some yummy Dear Lizzy and some new October Afternoon. Solid lines from all of them!
Picture of my and the girls from last summer in Australia. I love my girls. Chris and I were just looking at the pictures from that trip and marveled at how much Kira has grown since then. Seems she was still a little girl there, but since she started high school, time seems like it has accelerated. The teen years are such a delicate time. So many emotions and decisions where every day you face different challenges. It's all about how you as a parent are going to face them. All I can do is pray constantly for the right words and right attitude. It's crazy to think we get to go through this stage 3 more times! But I love the thought of me and my girls when we are all finally past this, when they are grown women. I hope that whatever we do to make it through these teen years, ties us even closer. Elsie makes me think of Kira so much when she was little, I miss her… but am just in awe of the woman she is becoming now.
I hardly take my own pictures anymore, I have to go to Chris' blog to steal his 🙂 He takes so many amazing pictures, these are some of my absolute favorites.

why does valentine's have to be so red and pink and cheesy? every piece of junk mail i got this week was plastered in that stuff. i like simple love. the kind that looks at me in the eye and knows what i'm thinking. the kind that reaches for my hand and i get butterflies. the kind that dreams and plans. the sentimental kind. 
and i love my crafts 🙂 and hers 🙂

studio calico's booth was awesome. i love their simple but totally amazing eye candy. every layout in that booth was AWESOME. they have such a great team!

making memories is coming out with a cool jewelry line with jill schwartz! i actually made a necklace and love it! i don't think i've ever done make and takes at the shows but this time i did a few! how could you pass up those cute little trinkets!? i'm hoping kira wants to do a jewelry making party this year for her birthday 🙂
more butterflies! (making memories booth) this reminded me of a jellyfish of butterflies. all made from the slice. i want that thing so bad! but apparently not bad enough to take a picture with the vespa 🙂

i'm excited for margie's new line. you walked into her booth and could just see the hours she put into making the statement she wanted to. there were so many amazing details. i love the big pink lanterns the best. we know these convention centers are not pretty! i love how designers are trying to pretty-fy them 🙂
highlight of my day, spending time with my good friend, shannon and seeing her layouts in real life. i forgot to get a pic of us together, so her in her layout will do 🙂 there's something about seeing layouts in real life that just gets me. especially shannon's. there's always so much more texture in real life, like that pink flower- it's pop dotted. one of my favorite layouts of hers ever!

i had such a great time at CHA yesterday. i have to download my pics and i'll write up a little post. as usual, i look and see and talk and then i walk away and realize i forgot to take pics. or i just feel dorky whipping out the camera 🙂 i wanted to share one of my latest obsessions. tumblr. i know it's been around for awhile, but i recently turned mine into cool things I see online, in hopes to reduce my bookmarks on my favorites and just load here as i see 🙂 here's mine if you want to take a peek 🙂
this week's layout came together thanks to the sketch of the week at ella publishing!
i was happy to find their twitter announcing their sketch, as it was friday and i hadn't had a chance to scrapbook and was feeling rushed. it looks like they are having 6 weeks worth of sketches and doing some giveaways. 🙂
