Cam graduated SPHS. So proud of him. It wasn’t easy. Some bullshit. But he did it and we are so proud. Afterwards we went across the street to take pics with Grampies. He was already sick at this point and didn’t come to the graduation ;( . Look how little KK was.

Edited++ One of the water holes in AZ. Looks murky but it was really refreshing. Can’t get over the backdrop to all these AZ photos. Unreal. Just so hot. Such special time with Nu. ❤

Digital Scrapbook day is next Saturday and the amazing Liz has put this set together for you, free download until Tuesday, May 3rd. There’s photo templates, available in 3×4 and 4×6 sizes, featuring hand drawn script. The individual wordart elements are also included as individual PNG files. I printed a few pieces out for an upcoming trip I’m taking and using my new Passport Size Midori Traveler’s Notebook to keep it all together. I’m beyond excited! 🙂

Edited: Jon Canlas took that photo of me and dad. Just Cam and Els came all the way down to San Diego to take pics with him that day. He asked us to come for some workshop he was shooting, I think?? We got some nice pics that day. I think Dad and Cam didn’t love them but I did. The city says NYC birthday weekend, I guess the weekend we went when Grampies got sick? It kinda looks like San Fran for dad’s bday but see that’s why we write things down.

Super excited to be taking on new forms of modern memory keeping with the Midori Traveler's Notebook and pocket scrapbooking. I don't think you realize how many 12×12 albums I own, filled to the brim! This has stretched my creativity and I can see memory keeping in different shapes and varieties, not just 12×12 canvases! Love these releases by Paislee Press. Liz's handwriting is one of my favorites so I'm more than happy to include it in my books! Also will need to dip back into this Dwell kit when my house has better light to shoot! This past weekend Southern California decided to have some rain, SO not convenient for my lighting :)

I'm so excited about this. I have been a 12×12 layout scrapbooker for almost the whole 14 years I've been scrapping. Sometimes I'll do an 8 1/2×11 but for the most part it's the basic paper layout that I have loved. Part of me taking a break a few years ago was because I felt super burned out on the same designs I've been using for so many years. So last year when the planner craze hit and the midori craze hit, I was so excited to take on new forms of memory keeping and documenting. Over the weekend, this beauty arrived. I have been on the fence about any sort of pocket scrapbooking basically since the start but I have to say that this album helped give me a little push 🙂 Also, working with KP and Paislee Press helped too! They use lots of pocket scrapbooking elements so I am excited to keep them all together in this album. Here are my first spreads for the book. I love the 6×8 format, it's not too overwhelming. I realize a few years back I did an 8×8 December Daily and I'm surprised it didn't hit me how much I love that format. So here we go! I'll be sharing more bits and pieces of this book along the way! Thanks for looking!

I'm so excited to be working with Liz and her crew for 2016! I have been a fan of Liz' work for many years, she is so darn good at what she does! I really wish I had my stuff in order like she did. She makes it all look so easy and so flawless and classy. One year, I had bought a photo template from her as a last minute christmas present. Of course the deadline to order and get it in the mail in time for the holidays were like that day and I couldn't figure out how to run some action. SHE LET ME CALL HER ON THE PHONE in a panic and talked me off the ledge. That was like 5 years ago and I will never forget her kind heart for helping me. So here is my first page with her designs. I am a mostly paper designer but every now and then I see some digital designs that I am dying to play with so I go the digital route. I did that for this one but in the future I will do a little mix, some digital but mostly hybrid. I'll be printing out Liz' designs to use in my pocket pages, my scrapbook layouts and my Midori Traveler's Notebook.
