i’ve never been to one of these things, nor taken an online class.. but holy moly.. there are some good ones. my kids even watched them with me! 🙂 some of my very favorite scrapbookers teaching some seriously fun classes. go see!! and talk to me. 🙂

well, it’s official, the jac blog is live!  as we sat down to type this post we set out to explain to you (and I guess to ourselves) why we needed another blog.  and the only thing we could really come up with was that watersfive gets the most enthusiastic response when jamie’s post are scrapbook related, and we felt that many of you might not be so hot on the idea of this blog being bombarded by the {j a c } side of life.  so, we’ve posted a welcome message and some images and a slideshow from a recent engagement shoot, please click HERE and tell us what you think!

i know that with the holidays coming, a trip in january, and LIFE.. that she will be TWO before i know it. that march 1st will be here and my baby will no longer be a baby. 😦  i should be happy because  the older toddler age is one of my favorite times… but she’s our last. enough said.

this was taken yesterday after a play date. she was wiped out! she doesn’t get to play with other kids her age very often.. i always assume that since she has 3 older siblings that she doesn’t need others.. but she does. the minute those kids leave the house, she becomes a whole other person. so it’s on my to do list. to make els friends. 🙂 we are getting there- 2 play dates scheduled for this week already! 🙂

i had the pleasure of being the october guest designer for my scrap shoppe  ! marcy has been nothing but sweet to me … it was wonderful to be able to do this for her! here’s my layouts… all done within a few episodes of grey’s 🙂

and my layouts for 2peas… the theme this month is blurry photos. i don’t usually print my blurry photos so i went the digital way for a few of them. now if i dug into my photos from before i switched to digital, there’d be tons. 🙂

sometimes when the thought of pulling out another thing to add to the destruction of my desk overwhelms me… i like to go digital. and i can’t get over how amazing the digi girls are. sigh.

in other news– chris and i are going to be setting up a photoblog for all our recent shoots… be sure to check back for that. 🙂

elsie is 20 months now. 2 is just around the corner. i am getting all sappy about it. sigh. a post to follow soon.

els was supposed to be pablo from the backyardigans.. we’ve been working on putting it on and telling her about all the hoopla… but she just wouldn’t do it. i guess she was just freaked out that her *hero* was there in real life, not on tv! lol! thanks cousin jaeden for the hand me down tinkerbell costume. els looooves it! 🙂 fah-fah– means flower costume. that’s what she asks for. 🙂

this morning.. she almost walked out of the house with this costume on and a Buzz Lightyear hat on and a pirate sword in hand. she is such the little sister. 🙂

and are you ready for the heartbreak story of the day? OHHHHH….

this is caleb outside of his classroom.. getting ready for a class photo… els runs up and sits on his lap and teacher says she needs to get out of the photo…caleb had tears in his eyes, but of course only chris and i could tell. he is such the good big brother.. he takes good care of her yet doesn’t spoil her– doesn’t hesitate to give her a shove when she takes something of his. LOL… awwww.

and last one. this is pretty much straight out of the camera. the fires have been slowing down.. the 95 degree day is down to a high of 78… glorious day. 🙂

to get in the swing of the things for tomorrow… just today bought pumpkins.. i don’t know why i am not motivated this year.. i usually love halloween– i especially love scrapbooking halloween! so much cute product out there for this day! someone doesn’t get to carve her pumpkin.. she believes in doodling. 🙂

and she.. who doesn’t believe in getting goopy hands.

we went up for the weekend to shoot a GOOOOORGEOUS wedding at this winery.  we obviously love our kids but gosh… some time away is always SO nice. i think it should be mandatory that every couple go away for one weekend every few months! 🙂 it was our first time leaving elsie overnight, for two nights…. i am happy to report that she did a great job. i was so relieved! (and so was grandma!) 🙂 🙂 🙂
