hi. looooong post ahead.

so christmas was beautiful. food was spectacular. family was wonderful. gifts were appreciated. i didn’t take very many pictures. and i am okay with that. i did get a bunch of random shots of what we’ve been doing the last few days.
here they are:
i got a canon speedlight flash. this will do wonders in my dark little
house. i am so excited. that first pic of the boys are in our hallway,
which is totally dark. unbelievable! 🙂

one of our gifts from chris’ parents was to go on a double date with his sister and brother in law who were visiting from Washington State. we went to a hip downtown LA restaurant and then a Laker game. fun for all. i discovered my new obsession–mochi balls. yuuuuuuuuuum. and i also got my new photo tile necklace in the mail that night from my good bud, tracy – SO cute. 🙂 we had such a good night. too bad we had to come home to 6 kids. lol.

most of the days were spent hanging around the house, either ours or my inlaws. chris got a new PSP and is totally lovin the Tiger Woods Golf Game he got. the kids got so many board games and video games. we would light the fire and just play all day. we are totally cranium crazy. 🙂 i got obsessed with a 500 piece double sided Star Wars puzzle. lol. i had my little niece, jaeden, over for a few days. she got the kids skates for christmas so there were many skating adventures. and we had a storm. it rained on our beautiful rose parade!!! we didn’t even go up to see the floats. oh well. chris and i agreed that this was one of the best christmases we have had. just so relaxing, so nice to be with family. i’m glad my kids have one more week off of school, i am not ready to go back to the real world.

lastly, i had a doc visit today. it’s on the calendar now. 2 months from today. march 3rd. i will go in for my C section. so amazing. i have also been put on a iron diet. ugh. seems my little girl is sucking a lot of energy out of me (which is why i took 3 naps yesterday-lol). and the little girl gifts are starting to sprinkle in. chris got me this really cute diaper bag for christmas- he said he couldn’t resist because it looked like my scrapbooking paper. how cute. 🙂 and we got some little girlie clothes, too… onesies, cute outfit. i have been holding back buying anything for the baby until christmas is over. i guess it is totally on now. 🙂 gosh, i hope she’s a girl. lol. 🙂
