a poem from daddy:
doesn't seem that long ago,
that we first saw you smile,
doesn't seem so far away,
but they say it's been a while.
seems like it was yesterday,
you whispered your first song,
you were only crawling then,
but we knew it all along.
one day you'd be old enough,
to walk without our help,
one day you'd be sure enough,
to do things by yourself.
if God slowed the pace of time,
we'd pay Him any tithe,
seems like only yesterday,
we can't believe you're FIVE!
