we had a relaxing easter weekend. kira baked some cookies. love that she loves to cook and bake. she always puts on her apron from amy and gets busy. we love it when she makes us treats! 🙂 elsie was in her harajuku bunny bib- but was asleep through church and the egg hunt. we did a ‘no candy’ egg hunt… the kids had coupons in them instead– date with mom, date with dad, 1 jamba juice, 1 movie rental, etc. we did it last year and they actually wanted them again instead of candy! yay!

I’m a big fan of non-candy rewards. This is more meaningful to kids. Also, just opened up the 12 layouts article in this month’s CK! Wow! You did it all with your usual stayle and gorgeous design. I am inspired to break out some random photos and have a blast.

Cute photos of your kiddos, Jaimes! You are a lucky gal indeed! Glad you had a wonderful Easter. Love the idea about the “no candy” egg hunt….I’ll have to try that one out next year, much better than all that sugar and it promotes such a good family feeling! Thanks for sharing!

that is such a cute idea–i’ll have to remember that when my girls get older! (i don’t think a one year old would get too excited about a piece of paper in an egg, but who knows…)
glad you all had a great easter!
