Fusspot

today.
not letting me put her down for more than 5 minutes. screaming her head off. my arm is about to fall off from carrying her. (no she’s not sick, i took her to the doc this morning… where i found out she’s only 10 lbs. i thought for sure she was like 13!) and caleb’s been following me around, "how do you spell……"
AHHHHHHHH!
i should just give up and crawl in bed with her but nooooooo… i must purge. 4 years of scrap stuff that just sits here taking up space. full sheets of paper and stickers, packages not even torn open.. it’s all going.. i get ruthless when i get crabby. 🙂

  1. I agree with Andrea…I wish the bottom of your garbage can would mysteriously tunnel it’s way to the top of my scrapdesk! So sorry you are having one of those days…I think all of us mommies wish we could have “sick” days every now and then to just climb in bed and have the world go away!

  2. been checking in here to see your little love…hang in there…i’m sure you remember it gets better! it goes so fast so soon you will wish for those days when just holding her would soothe her…
as for pics i order about 50-100 a month and take at least 300 i would say!
feel free to purge my way, too!

  3. isn’t it crazy how those ‘cranky kiddo’ days are the very ones that we actually want to DO something?! 😉 or is it the very fact that we’re trying to accomplish a project what sends them into crankiness?? hmmm.. good luck on your purging and hope tomorrow flows smoother for ya! 🙂

  4. I’m sorry Jamie, I’ve had days like this for sure. Wish I was there to hold Elsie for you. I’m the same way with the purging. Best to wait for when I’m in a bad mood…be gone!

  5. Life has all kinds of waves and this wave was harder … Been there too. It’ll get better. As you probably know. I thought my son was so heavy when he was 9 pounds. Hard on my arms to carry him. Crabby is good if it gets some unneeded stuff out of the house. My opinion anyway ! 🙂 Here’s hoping that tomorrow is a better day !

  6. I adore this pic…one of my fave pics of my youngest dd is of her screaming her head off…disturbing, I know. And nothin’ like a good clean to wash away the crabbies…would love to see a pic of your straightened space and your purge pile!

  7. you know Jamie, i’m glad you still got your sense of humor. taking picture of that cranky face. LOL!!! i had the same thing happening with my Gabby girl, couldn’t put her down, she just want to stand on her feet and watch the dog play fetch. or she’d want to feed from me until my nipples are about to full off so last night, i gave her cereal with powdered formula. she seems better today.
how funny… i’m purging too- they were way too old school- i gave ‘m to a friend who doesn’t care what she has. it felt good to get rid of stuff. though i have to say, purge ‘m to me because i am sure your stuff are way cooler than my crap. LOL!!!
hang on Jamie, and why is that i feel like you’re no different from me and turthfully, it feels good, i feel like i’m normal.

  8. I swear we are leading the same life, just in different states! LOL!!!!! 🙂
Come purge my stuff afterwards….packages and packages of unopened supplies. It’s disgusting!!!! Who are you going to give it to? I can never think of who would want it.

  10. being the momma of five and dealing with 4 month grandbaby that’s feeling the same way, i feel your pain (plus i have the stomach flu), put baby in a snuggly sling around your body and your hands will be free for the purging (very therapeutic too)…hang in there as you can see by the comments you are not alone.

  11. Oh…I hear ya, all too well!! She’s a cute little fusspot though! :o) I got one of my own that demands being held like that. I just have to let him cry it out at times, because the others are just as demanding! I hope it does get easier for you (…and for me too! hee hee)!
