we forgot to go to his preschool’s open house last night. his very last preschool one. and we didn’t tell him we forgot. is that bad?! 🙂 i AM going to his class this morning to talk about ‘what i do’.. and he doesn’t know that i am, so in a way i am making up for my negligance last night. 🙂 you know i will not forget, i dreamed about my little schpeel i am going to give these 5 year olds ALL night. i am t i r e d today. (why i need to broadcast that i forgot my son’s open house on the blog… i don’t know, not much to say, and just further evidence that i am not supermom) 🙂

and no it’s not bad, i’ve done things like that and i just kinda sorta confess about it later on and so far, i’m still their mommy:-)

i know for me it’s a little pang in the heart when I miss those things…intentionally or not…but just think how much he’ll love having you talk to his class! enjoy and hope you get to squeeze in a nap…

hey you know we are just human….all of us make mistakes but we dont parent these kids alone. I think God just meets us where we fall and makes up to it in abundance. Have fun with those five year olds, we call that reception class here in UK.

i know how you feel. i forgot my son’s spring band concert a few weeks ago. how lame is that? i’m in the NOt supermom corner with a dunce cap on, too.

oh i showed up at preschool yesterday. kissed dd goodbye and the teacher said “oh you aren’t coming to the park for the next step ceremony and party?” hhhmmmm great who felt like the biggest jerk in front of 6 other preschool moms with balloons and flowers! YEP that would be ME!!!
{in my defense we are moving 3,000 miles across country in a month and she isn’t graduating from preschool just moving on to 3 day program} LOL
So glad to hear others aren’t super mommy either 🙂

i’ve done it too. i’ve forgotten school meetings, and the one i really felt bad for was forgetting my sons’s baseball game. you are a great mom, your family is absolutely beautiful.

Hey Jamie…this is my first time posting…I forgot my son’s pre-school picture day…felt awful when they called me that morning wondering where I was. And since I am not a morning person there was no way I was ready to go and so my son missed the photo. RATS!!!
