eleven at 11:18am

our firstborn. our first daughter. our tween. she turns eleven today. of course we can’t believe it! i remember so much about her birth… the baby days… all the newness of her. i can almost smell it. she is finishing up elementary school in a few weeks and off to the big middle school…and is so excited. she has such enthusiasm…it makes us proud! she is an awesome sister and a great helper to me. we love her dearly. chris helped set this blog  up for her…to get her reading and reviewing.. to keep her in touch with her friends. she is very excited! we have this tradition where the birthday person gets to pick a birthday dinner.. anywhere they want to go.. and she chose to grill at home.. steaks, green giant vegetables and mashed potatoes. it’s going to be a great day. we love you kira soleil!

  12. Happy BIG 11th Birthday Kira-Coo!!!(your mom did give you our bday wishes early morn yesterday, right?-hehe)
    The years have gone by way too fast..you were the first born, the big cousin, the big sister, and I admit, I did spoil yu with gifts, couldn’t help it though, it’s always common w/the first born..ehhe….I remember the day you were born too…your auntie amihan and I just made it on time to see you enter this world.(We peeked through the half opened door to your mommy’s room-) I think I still have the gold heart sticky monitor gadget that was attached to you under the heating lamp! WE love you Soliel..you are growing up to be a beautiful young lady! LOVES, HUGS, KISSES to you sweetie. I hope you enjoyed your bday and hope all your wishes come true.
