this is how she usually wakes up from a nap… happy, relaxed, chatty. she will stay in her crib and roll around (not totally around, just half rolls) and talk to me and her mobile and toys. i love it. the last few days she has been taking short naps and then being grumpy in between naps. it’s funny how unroutine of a person i am, but this girl is SO routine. you take her out of it and she is not a happy camper. so miss nonroutine-me wants nothing but a routine to make her happy.
anyone know why my file in photoshop would be showing these pics crisp and yum and just blah(colorwise) on the web?

You have to optimize for web, as web doesn’t display as many colors as photoshop…and, I love you to death, but I’m pretty sure there’s no such word as unroutine…goober.

If you have optimised them for the web (ie. Save for Web) Photoshop gets rid of information to compress the file size which is why they probably don’t have quite the same colour intensity as you see on the original file….but they look awesome to me! Love your stuff 🙂

Adorable photos! She is a doll to be sure. My youngest was a routine baby too – much happier being put down in her crib at the same time every day, and going to bed each night at the same time. I wasn’t used to that. My first could fall asleep in a stroller or car seat and get her nap just fine.
Did you shoot these in aRGB instead of the usual sRGB? The web can’t display as many colors, so if you shoot in aRGB, you have to convert to sRGB for web viewing. If you forget, they come out looking really dull.
