chris and i rented the 17-55 2.8 lens over the weekend, our second time renting it… but i am totally officially in love with it now. you would think i would have taken better pics than ones of my daughter eating a waffle off the kitchen floor.. but i did not. š it was for a wedding, so i didn’t get much family time with it.
and that super easy and cute story board is from 2peas…erica made it! i love it.
and i would also be loving grey’s right now if it weren’t for the dang scrubs musical that overruled my melodrama. whatever! š

awww…such sweet pics! So tell me more about the lens. please? What did you like about it? Was it fast? Sharp? I was looking at that one, the 16-35mm and the 17-40mm too. The only downside of the 17-55 to me was that it wouldn’t work with the 5D. Have you had a chance to try the 16-35mm?

The 17 to 55 will work with the 5d, but it will crop because it’s not full frame. If you’ve got the 5d, you’d want to go with the 17 to 40 L lens…but there is something about that 17 to 55, even compared to the 17 to 40…
…also, I hear canon is about to announce the 40D! So anyone thinking of buying hold off…

I’ve got a Nikon D200 and the 17-55 2.8 is the primary one I keep on the camera. I use indoors, outdoors–everywhere. I LOVE it.
