about 11 years apart. i hope hope hope they stay close as they grow up. i always thought i would have liked a sister.. but i am too much of an introvert.. she would have wanted to hang out and stuff. π LOL i did just fine with my cousins living in different houses. π these two are so sweet. all kira wants to do is hug and play with her. finally, elsie is starting to enjoy playing now. and yesterday we picked kira up from being gone all weekend, and elsie greeted her with a ‘hi sissy’… ok more of a ‘hiiiiii thi-thee’ and of course, it melted kira’s heart.
SO adorable!!! I bet they will be close! I’m sure Kira will always feel very protective of her little sis and Elsie will look up to her big sis!!

I still maintain that Elsie is the cutest kid I have ever seen. Not that your other children are not cute or just as precious but OMG one look at Elsie and my biological clock becomes deafening!

so sweet! My sister and I are 11 years apart as well – and we’re close. She was an awesome babysitter for me too – she loved to come and stay at my house when she was a teenager and I got free babysitting! lol it was a win win. But even now – a sister at any age is a great thing. π

I am 11 years older than my sister and she is my best friend; even at 34 and 23. We have always been close even when the physical distance was not.

My sister and I are 13 years apart and I loved having a sister so much younger. Then when I was 19 I got another little sister! It has been nice for them too because I could do stuff for/with them that their parents couldn’t. I’m sure it will be wonderful for your girls always too!
