great

just when we found THE thing to get the kids excited about brushing their teeth….it gets recalled. so. not. cool.

last weekend was mighty nice for the waters family. saturday was filled with sports, of course.

as we drove to the ballpark, i snapped this for you loyal brothers and sisters watchers– this is where kitty was interviewing the senator’s ex-girlfriend and the giant artichoke walked by. (omg, how random does that sound?? if you don’t watch the show, that must sound so strange. lol)

and on sunday we veged out and did nada. my kind of day.. totally! over the last few days, we noticed how much elsie has found her way when playing with the big kids. they just mesh. every now and then they will lock her out of the room.. but her screams and cries quickly make them bring her back in. 🙂 they watch out for her. they are so protective of her. i am so proud of the way they love her. the whole age difference between them and her.. i thought it would be a bit much at first.. but now.. i wouldn’t change it for the world. despite the way it looks in this photo, it IS a loving relationship LOL. 🙂

again.. she does not need the fancy toys.. she has little interest in them.. it’s the little things she loves so much. 🙂

and one for mom to see. chris says she looks like you here. (we love the dress, jessi!!! we are going to get so much use out of it.)  🙂

and random shot of kira’s desk.

just when i thought her tastes were getting too pricey for us…i just got back from target with her where she debated for awhile whether she would spend a few bucks on lip gloss. that’s my girl. 🙂

and i am going to snap a random pic of my kids’ desk to document them right now.
    before she’s “over” the sims.
before he gets rid of that stack of rolling stone magazine.
    thanks for the idea.

  2. Again, your “FLUFF” cracks me up. Your pics are classics. Totally digging this. I wish I would have thought of giving my son tongs to play with when he was Elsie’s age. Btw, for the brushing teeth thing, ever try those battery operated toothbrushes for kids?? Those totally work and my son wants to brush his teeth ALLLLLLL DAYYYYY, battery after battery…

  4. Thanks for the heads up on the Listerine… I have a bottle in my bathroom right now that will be in the trash as soon as I finish posting this. My kids love the stuff, too.
Elise knows where the fun can be found… the kitchen! My son is the same, he loves pot holder, tongs, big spoons and everthing else he finds in there. ; ) My husband is in charge of the dishes in our house… so he isn’t always happy to find the contents of the drawers in the sink when he comes home from work. Oh well… I guess it is the same as when my kids change 12x a day and their practically clean clothes end up in the hamper.
    Elise is beautiful!!
    Love that dress!!
