ojai/santa barbara mini trip

we like little night/day trips somewhat close to home. santa barbara is always at the top of our list as it's always a little cooler there and of course, there's so much sentimentality that goes along with it- as that's the place we first lived together and grew our little family! santa barbara by day via instagram on my phone:

waking them up super early, partly to make the most of our day, partly because chris is so excited πŸ™‚ 12

  1. Looks like you had a great time!
While I was growing up, my grandparents lived in Ojai. We had such a great time visiting. I love it up there too! πŸ™‚

  2. It makes me giggle that in both of our families, there is a Jamie and a Kira/Keira. we’re so cool πŸ™‚
and your older son (Cameron or Caleb? I can never get the names straight!!)? he is quite the looker. you better watch out. If I was about 20 years younger, I just might have a crush on him.
such a sweet family you have, Jamie πŸ™‚

  3. You have such a beautiful family! Santa Barbara is the perfect place to bring small children too! There is so much for them to do there, they will have those memories with them for the rest of their lives, promise. I was just in SB with my 2 small children and they loved the zoo (the train especially) and the surreys along the beach. We stayed at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). So budget friendly and close to all the fun (made the car rides nice and short!)
